Alrighty, I’ll try to keep this short and concise like you’ve asked. I do often tend to make things a bit thorough, though, so it may end up going in the wrong direction in that regard. I hope you can live with the application anyway .

1)Account name (include the 4 digits, invite purposes) ?

2)Applicant character name, level & class?

I’m mainly playing a level 80 thief, which is the character I’m applying with. The name’s Thuarc.

3)Any planned alt (Include only those you deem worthy of mentioning)

The only noteworthy alt I have at the moment is a level 15ish mesmer

4)Your exploits in gw2 so far (crafting lvl, WvW/dungeons/spvp experience)

I’ve done pretty much every kind of activity in the game, some more than others. The part of the game I’ve probably spent the most time in so far is WvW. Apart from that, I’ve done a fair bit of other content as well, though not quite as much. I’ve completed every story mode dungeon once, as well as a couple of explorable paths. I’ve played a bit of spvp, experimenting with builds and just having a good time (rank 9ish I believe, so not overly much). I also have two crafting disciplines at max level (huntsman and jeweler).

5)Do you have a mic & are you talkative in guild / voice comms?

I both have and use a mic, and I’m not one to sit silent just listening to others (unless I’m sleepy, in which case all you can do is be happy that you can’t hear my constant yawning thanks to push-to-talk), though I don’t talk incredibly much. I currently have TS3 and mumble installed but I obviously wouldn’t mind downloading something else if none of the above is what you’re using.

6)Previous MMO experience (game; time spent), maybe charnames / server

I’ve played WoW and SWTOR, as well as having tried out some other games. I played WoW on and off between 2006 and 2010 but I don’t find my time there worth any note since I didn’t really get much done largely because of how young I was (at one point I was one of dem twelve-year-olds running around). I guess I’m still kinda young though since that wasn’t so long ago ;-p.
I played SWTOR from its launch until GW2’s launch, and now have characters on The Red Eclipse server (I think that’s where they’re at, haven’t really checked up on things since the recent server mergers). I see no need to go into further detail here, but you can of course ask for character names and stuff if you’re actually interested.

7)Previous guild experience (what focus and what position did you hold)

I was part of the same guild most of my time playing SWTOR. The last few months of playing I had a kind of semi-officer position in the guild; I did some recruitment, a bit of raid leading (though this started while I was still a standard member), and was also a go-to person for game-related questions. That said, I’m perfectly comfortable being a normal member having several guild superiors seeing as that’s how the majority of my time in guilds have been :-).

8)Have you spoken/played with any of us ingame yet ? Who(m)?

Not in the way you’re asking about. Though it is possible we’ve been defending the same keeps, poked the same supply camps, or killed the same pirates having offended an individual with an orange ring encircling him on the map.

Personality related

1)How old are you?

17, the reason I’m able to claim that I once was a twelve-year-old overly attached to a two-legged cow fiddling with nature magic.

2)Where are you from/where do you live?

I’m from a southern town in Sweden called Växjö, which is also where I live.

3)What days can you play on and at what times (approximately)?

The hours I play vary from day to day, and the most specific thing I can say is that evenings are when you are most likely to see me playing. I have a currently undiagnosed medical condition which determines other parts of my life (including gaming) to an unfortunate extent. Hospitals, missed schoolwork, or me simply being ill will likely affect the hours I can play. I still play a fair amount; it may just be occasionally spread out during non-standard hours of the day.

4)Any special schedule where you know you can't be online (other hobby, etc..)?

Not really, most of what I do is non-scheduled. I do work two hours a week in addition to studies, but my employer doesn’t care about when I do things, as long as they get done.

5)How would you describe yourself as a person and a gamer. (be concise use key concepts)

As both a gamer and as a person, I’m always trying to improve and learn things. I can be competitive at times, but also know when to put that aside and just casually do things for the fun of it. I’d like to think I’m pleasant to hang around with (no one has complained so far ;-D); I don’t get over-excited and start raging, and I don’t go the other way around and become a shadow on the wall.

Additional info

1)How did you hear about us?

I saw your recruitment advertisements both on and on gw2guru.

2)What do you expect from us?

I expect you to go along the way you seem to be right now, and take me along for the ride. I hope to be able to experience all kinds of content the game has to offer with you, and that I’ll have a good time doing so.

3)And what can we expect from you?

I’ll take part in guild events to the highest extent possible with what I mentioned above. You can also expect me to do anything I can to make sure people enjoy their time spent with the guild. Last but not least: you can always expect me to do my best.

Anything additional you want to add that was missing.

Well, that went good enough. Probably not the highest level of conciseness, but it could’ve been worse. Trust me :-).
