We did it again guys, took dreaming bay from the frenchies!
After some heavy earlier battles againts the germans, getting booted out twice.
A very very close attempt at taking it, sadly the pc gods decided to drop the framerates to abysmal numbers for some of our fellow combattants.
But then finally a sneaky attack whilst the french were occupied on other fronts. They came back seconds too late and we slaughtered those that were trapped inside.

We held it for a good half hour, going back and forth between outer and inner walls. Ravaging the french hordes with arrowcarts. Alas supply starved, we had to concede eventually.

We know how to take em, now all we need to learn is how to hold them :D

Our first WvW event was a succes. We conquered and claimed our first keep quite fast. We captured some towers as well.

To commemorate the launch of Guild Wars 2, we’re making a special hat available to all players for free! The Celebration Hat is a baseball cap with the iconic Guild Wars 2 dragon logo—a stylish addition to your town attire!



You can find the Celebration Hat in the Black Lion Trading Company in the ‘Style’ category by pressing ‘O’ while playing the game. The hat is available at the cost of zero gems. The Celebration Hat cannot be traded to other players. The hat can be worn by any character on your account.
The Celebration Hat will only be available from August 25 (during Headstart) through September 12, so don’t wait! Just enter the Black Lion Trading Company before September 12 to get one!
